"Photosensitive epilepsy" the neurologist said, to explain my reactions to fluorescent lights. I can't be under fluorescent lights without immediatly feeling nauseous, dizzy, uptight and confused. I quickly become sensitive to anti-convulsant medication.

Debra proposes to desensitize me to the hippocampus after listening to an interview with researcher Dr. Brenda Milner, who described some of the experiments she used to conduct at McGill University. My neurologist confirms the link between the hippocampus and temporal lobe epilepsy (my case). He confirms as well the hippocampus can and does spring back into shape after trauma.

First NAET treatment: I'm able to stay under fluorescent lights for 15 to 20 minutes. Second treatment. Third. I'm getting stronger everyday, little by little. After an emotional treatment for light - a "Journey" process - I'm able to be under fluorescent lights for a couple of hours. Wonderful! The hippocampus continues to regenerate itself now that is has been desensitized to itself and, in tandem, to fluorescent lights and to mercury (the last bit of mercury desensitization I needed after a mercury intoxication five years ago). Interestingly as well, a very red, large, and still growing wart that I had shrinks to one third of it's size after the mercury treatment. It now responds well to homeopathic treatments, while it did not before.

This is my second go with Debra's NAET treatments. I have gone from being sensitive to just about everything, to now being able to eat most things. I've put on the few pounds that make me feel and look both younger and healthier. And I am less and less sensitive to chemicals.

This has been a long and so very worthy journey. Thank you, Debra, for your reasoned approach to my sensitivities, your intuition, your patience, your incredible generosity and your warm welcome.

"Being misdiagnosed as a Celiac turned out to be a lucky break for me. While I dutifully avoided any products containing gluten for over two months, at the same time I was searching for a possible cure. I had had NAET treatments a few years earlier – though it turned out that not all the treatments had been successful – and therefore I decided to turn to a NAET practitioner with Advanced-2 training. Again, I was lucky to find Debra Lowe who practices in my home town Ottawa. I talked to her over the phone and she said she would be able to treat Celiac disease.

During my first appointment Debra did all the testing and said that I probably did not have celiac disease, but was reacting very strongly to vitamin Bs and grains. I needed three basic treatments and about ten additional ones. Once my vitamin B and grain allergies were treated, my gluten and gliaden allergies cleared at the same time, and I was able to enjoy all grain products again. All treatments I received were successful and none had to be repeated.

I feel so much better now and hardly dare think where I would be had I not found Debra. The bloating I have suffered from most of my life is gone, and I digest just about any food without a problem. I have only one more treatment left, but have already made an appointment with Debra for my teen-age son, who has been allergic to milk since he was a baby – and I suspect he has a few other sensitivities that Debra can clear.

"I went to Debra Lowe because I had severe hand excema. After using steroid and antibiotic cream from my doctor and dermatologist for over a year, and the problem getting worse and worse, I was ready to check into the hospital. "My reason for seeking treatment was initially due to a reference from a colleague at work who had successfully been cured of Candida. We work in a “sick” building, and my co-workers and I were experiencing a general feeling of malaise. After discussion about the possibilities that these feelings could be allergy related, and my curiosity into this unusual treatment, I decided to “give it a try.”

Since I was not showing any serious signs of severe allergies, I did not notice any notable differences... or so I thought. Over a period of time as I was treated, a funny thing happened... I started feeling better!

It was then that I was willing to accept that the things I was allergic to like salt, sugar, minerals. grain etc. that I was cleared of, must have had an impact on how I felt. I no longer have a runny nose or eyes, the itchiness in my skin disappeared. I have not had a cold in over a year, and my annual bout of bronchitis never happened this year. "Suddenly, one day, my system went into collapse from accumulated stress of unemployment. I had developed a severe case of diarrhoea and was unable to retain anything that I ate. Within ten days, I had lost 32 pounds; was gaunt and frail. The only thing my allopathic doctor had to offer was the encouragement that I could now apply for medical disability. Whether I would live to collect it was not discussed.

By the grace of God, I was intuitively guided to NAET, and quickly began treatments three times a week. My system gradually stabilized and the road to recovery began.

Between October 2001 and June 2003 I was treated up to 3 times a week for all the Basics, plus many food and environmental allergies. Theses included all vitamins, gluten (wheat), and virtually every food imaginable except brown rice. I received treatments for formaldehyde, fluorescent lights, rubber and plastics and a host of environmental allergies. Eventually I could eat most things but there were still significant problems which could not be identified nor addressed by the practioners that I was working with.

In January 2004, I switched to a more very intuitive and more highly trained NAET practioner, Debra Lowe. Booster treatments were required for many of the Basics, foods and environmentals to achieve 100% clearance level. I received treatments for allergies to other people, allergies to myself, Candida, and to several prescription medications (Effexor, Paxil, Prozac, Penicillin); as well as detoxification treatments for Effexor, mercury, aluminium, lead, sulphur, sugar, graphite. Hypoglycaemia, and other sugar imbalances and related emotional allergies have been corrected.

We began an aggressive treatment of Herpes Simplex. We identified and treated an enormous number of combinations of foods and environmental factors that acted as triggers causing outbreaks of herpes simplex. Many emotional issues were identified and treated as triggers for herpes. Advanced techniques such as triple warmer and governing vessel were eventually developed to finally eliminate outbreaks of herpes.

I have also received many highly successful emotional treatments for various fears, for success and money issues - which have had remarkable impact.

If I had not been guided to NAET, I would not have collected a medical disability, nor written this note. For me, NAET has been nothing short of a miracle. The advanced level treatments that I have received from Debra Lowe have been quite remarkable. Herpes outbreaks have stopped. "I went to Debra Lowe for a long standing intestinal problem, which was cured by NAET treatments (see my testimonial of December 2005), and I would like to add this testimonial.

I also used to have reactions to heat and humidity, and I was dangerously allergic to bee stings, having had to be admitted to the hospital for a sting which caused my face, hands, and feet to swell up within a matter of minutes. For years, I had to be extremely careful when outdoors. These situations which were difficult to handle when enjoying what I consider my hobby, gardening!

This summer, we rented a cottage, and fifteen minutes after we got to it, a wasp stung me on the thigh, an occurrence which before my treatment for insect bites have would sent me to the hospital. I had forgotten my emergency kit at home, and my family was concerned since we were far from any medical care facilities. The result of that sting was limited to a large red mark which disappeared within the week.

As to heat and humidity, Debra treated me for that last year. The benefit is considerable. I no longer come back from my garden red in the face as a hot pepper. I can stay in the heat, and have even taken up cycling again under the extreme conditions we experienced in June and July 2006. I no longer feel soggy, and don’t need to stay put near a fan. "I went to Debra Lowe for a long standing intestinal problem. I have been dealing with frequent diarrhea since 1976! Having lived in Asia at that time, doctors suspected a tropical disease, yet X-rays did not show any abnormalities. During all those years, I believe I that had some relief form the problem, but cannot recall what made it better for those short periods of time, except a diet of fiber and pills of Acidophilus and Bifidus, plus some bentonite, which I was taking according to the degree of pain.

When a friend recommended that I go to see Debra Lowe for a NAET treatment, I doubted that intestines would get better. I actually went in the hope of increasing my energy level, in order to be able to exercise more and eventually lose some of my excess weight. I did not even mention my intestinal problem to Debra!

Debra found that I had “an allergy” to klebsiella and pneumocystic carnii. My reaction to that particular treatment was more than any I experienced in dealing with any of my other problems. While the diarrhea got worse for a week after the treatment, it then disappeared. I have only had diarrhea a couple of times since last August, and on one occasion, at least, it was due to spoiled food.

"We discovered our son, Chris, had a cat allergy by chance, when one day at his piano teacher's house he touched her cat and seconds later his eyes were swollen shut, he was 8 at the time. His reactions increased in severity as he got older to the point of having breathing problems - asthma. Whenever we would go to someone's house with cats we would give him an antihistamine. If we over stayed the lasting effect of the antihistamine he would start wheezing - we would then have to leave and he would take ventolin. There was one reaction that was so severe that we had to take him to the Children's Hospital. We found out about NAET through a friend in June 2005. Debra treated him for his allergy, it only took one treatment. He is now 14 and cat allergy free! We now go to houses with cats and he holds them - as a matter of fact we were at a friend's house yesterday and he held two cats. He kissed them and rubbed his face into their fur - NO reactions! "I have been suffering from all sorts of allergies, but primarily environmental, for at least 5 years. My first treatment, through my GP, was the allergy shots, which worked for about a year. After landing in the hospital for the second time from the reactions, I gave up the shots. In addition, I'm on other medication which prevents me from taking any allergy medication other than Reactine or Claritin-neither of which work AT ALL for me.

I started working with Debra to treat my environmental allergies in the fall of 2004. I had met Debra at a networking function, and we chatted several times about my allergies. I finally took her up on her offer, and got some NAET treatments. After about 6 or 8 treatments, I felt much, much better. Debra was able to pinpoint exactly what was bothering me-which turned out to be goldenrod, not ragweed as I had thought. In addition, I was experiencing pretty strong allergic reactions every time I went to my boyfriend's house-or was around him. "From my experience, doctors are rushed and unable to explain things properly. They tend to offer medication rather than finding out the real source of "why" you are in the state that you are in. There are a lot of answers out there, but that it's always going to be up to us to sift through it all and find what works best. "In September 2005, I started having allergic reactions to tomatoes and within about a month, I was also reacting to potatoes, celery, carrots, vegetable oil, legumes and most grains, all staples of my diet. The worst consequences of these allergies were diminished taste buds and energy, itchiness, a facial rash and painful welts on my upper inner thighs that drastically affected my usually active lifestyle.

"I suffered from digestive issues for over 20 years. In that time I tried all sorts of treatments, remedies, diets, etc. By developing coping mechanisms and learning what to avoid, I managed, but certainly wasn’t cured of my problems. After about 10 or 12 NAET treatments I found myself able to eat all sorts of foods that I traditionally avoided. I no longer feel ill after eating and I can eat much more than I normally could. "In May 2005, I was diagnosed with a lemon-sized growth on my right ovary. It was causing me considerable discomfort ie. having a need and difficulty in urinating every half hour, tenderness on my right side, etc. A blood test (CA 125) revealed some elevation above normal. As anyone can imagine, this was all more than a bit disquieting, especially at a time when news features were being run on the growing incidence of ovarian cancer. My MD said she could only hope to try to get me into a gynecologist in 6 - 8 weeks at the earliest and tried to re-assure me by encouraging me not to jump to any negative conclusions, especially since I follow a fairly healthy lifestyle. She suggested that if the situation became totally unbearable, I could go to Hospital Emergency - although it might transpire that they couldn’t do much either until a specialist could be seen. It was hard to believe that Canada’s health care response system has sunk so low.

I decided to get a tight grip on my imagination and to seek help while I was waiting for a specialist appointment through non-traditional medicine - if only to get some relief from the discomfort. ( The pressure of the growth was making me feel like I was in an advanced state of pregnancy.)

My daughter and I were taking allergy elimination treatments ( NAET) from Debra Lowe. She suggested taking acupuncture treatments from her colleague, Claudette Viau, who had over twenty years treated many types of conditions and who in particular had loads of experience in dealing with female problems.

Claudette was wonderful. She did a thorough pre-screening using a questionnaire. In addition, she and Debra collaborated using NAET analysis. Within a few days of starting the treatments and the Chinese herbals, I got BLESSED RELIEF from the pressure of this growth. As I continued on, I amplified my regime by adding reflexology and reiki as well as Spiritual undertakings.

THE RESULT- TESTS IN SEPTEMBER 2005 SHOWED THE GROWTH WAS GONE !!!!

Since then I’ve had a general fear of restaurants because over the years I have frequently been sick from hidden lactose-related ingredients that waiters and waitresses never seemed to know about.

Following NAET treatment in which Debra Lowe discovered I had five lactose-related allergies, this summer I eagerly consumed a huge amount of ice cream and cheese and have also enjoyed the freedom of being able to eat in restaurants without any fear of getting sick. "What can I say but a huge Thank You to Debra and to Claudette as well. You helped me so much, in the healing of my eyes, and educated me in discovering what was hurting my body. As you know, I had come to you by a recommendation from a true believer in the NAET practice that you had done on her for her many allergies. I was at a loss with having blurry eye vision caused by dry eyes from having laser eye surgery. It had been 9 months with this problem and I was getting very discouraged. I couldn’t read any longer, couldn’t do any hand work and even had to use a hand held magnifying glass along with reading glasses to do my computer work at the office. I was so very upset and was at my wits end. It was suggested at work by colleagues, to visit you and see if you could help. After speaking with you about my eyes and finding out that I had been on anti-depressants for 7 years, you thought that my eyes may not be healing properly because my liver may be clouded or “sick” from the medication. After doing some tests on me you found I had an allergy to Serotonin and Dopamine, and this may have been the reason I had to take anti-depressants in the first place, as I wasn’t producing them on my own. You treated this allergy then suggested I see Dr. Viau, your colleague, for a full acupuncture treatment followed by a “Liver de-tox”. The acupuncture treatment concentrated on the eyes and liver. After three days, my sight began to clear and I just couldn’t believe it. I had to go see my Optometrist to show him the difference. He said the eyes went to being 20/20 from being where he couldn’t even get a glasses prescription because the eyes were so blurry and inconsistent in the sight. He was truly amazed by the change and asked for your business cards, which speaks volumes. This proved to be what was wrong with the healing of my eyes. However things deteriorated again after about 3 weeks and I decided I HAD to get off the anti-depressants. First, I went to have a correction done on my one eye since it had deteriorated to where it was before surgery, and then I began working with my family doctor for 5 months to get off the medication. Now that my body is clear of the medication, I have been able to see 20/20 once again, which is amazing since I had blurry vision for close to two years. This is like a new beginning for me with my vision and I have only you Debra and Claudette as well to thank. I would never have known there was a correlation between the eyes and the liver if I hadn’t met you both and have you both treat me. I am so thankful to you; I can’t begin to tell you. "My body was in a state of crisis when I first began my NAET treatments. I was not eating and was having difficulty handling the environmental allergens (e.g., perfume and air quality of my work place). "I went to Debra Lowe for a long standing problem with sinus congestion. I have been using Otrivin nose drops for thirty years, daily; although I knew they should not be used continously, because I could not otherwise breathe. Blocked nose woke me up at night and I resorted to nose drops every single night to clear both nostrils. I was skeptical at first that this treatment could cure a problem that had plagued me for so many years.

Following several treatments, not all related to sinus conditions, I didn't have to use nose drops any more. A residual post-nasal drip is becoming less with time. I have not now used Otrivin for nearly three months and can breathe freely. My sinuses are nearly clean despite thirty years of daily use of nose drops. I owe this to NAET and specifically to Debra and am impressed and grateful for this result. Ear/nose/throat doctors I have seen in the past did not cure the problem merely prescribed different nose drops which I believe were not innocuous (they contained cortisone)."

"I have had an ongoing problem with heart palpitations since my 20's. It was determined that I had mitral valve prolapse, a usually benign disorder so I did not worry about it and we lived together for years without much incident.

For some reason, on occasion my heart would seem to pound very hard, and really fatigue me as if I had run a race, even though this usually happened after I ate a meal. I didn't think it would kill me but it was very uncomfortable and I always had to lie down or sit quietly during these episodes until they subsided.

When I became pregnant with my second child these attacks became intense and I was sent to another specalist to check out my heart. I was a thirty-five year old but felt more like a weak old ninety year old. Thankfully after the birth of my baby the intensity of the attacks subsided and they returned to the way they had been before.

Long story shortened, jump ahead to my 49th year and I find myself having these unbelievable palpitations almost all day long. I did try some accupuncture which relieved my symptoms somewhat but there were still days when it was very bad. I would lay down and with my arm stretched out and ask my husband(paramedic) to feel my pulse.He said they were called PVC's. Sometimes it would skip and stop every ten seconds. I could not believe how exhausted I was but felt that medication was not the route to go since medications can sometimes make the symptoms worse (at least in my case). This actually went on for months!

Enter Debra Lowe. Long story short, after just one combination treatment using a N.A.E.T. (Dopamine and BBF) treatment, all the years of palpitations were gone... just like that!!! Magic? Feels like a miracle to me. Funny thing is, I never considered myself a person with any allergy except for penicillen and hayfever.

This is just one of the many amazing healings that has happened to me while being treated by Debra. "Before I started coming to the clinic, I used to have stomach pains most of the time, I had diarrhea often and I was allergic to alot of things such as metal, different vitamins, a variety of fruits and vegetables, milk products and meats, perfume, ragweed and dust. "For the past 5 years I felt sick almost everyday and didn’t know why. No doctor could help me and every test I took came back negative. I conducted my own research and tried different things, none of which worked longer than a day. I was extremely frustrated but determined not to give up. "Although I entered Menopause early, age 45, I did not experience symptoms until I reached age 50. I had the occasional hot flash and night sweat but nothing serious. Starting then, these symptoms increased in severity coupled with difficulties falling asleep and staying asleep. Over one 3 week period I experienced hot flashes on the average of 7 to 8 times per day. I also had difficulty falling asleep, then awakened with night sweats, and could not fall asleep again. Sleep deprivation started to take a toll on my work and family life. I had decided early on not to take Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) or use homeopathic remedies since I was on a blood thinner at the time. I discussed my problems with Debra and she treated me for hormone allergy using NAET. I went home that night and slept like a baby, and have ever since. I have not experienced night sweats since (approximately 2 years) nor sleep interruptions. I still have hot flashes only once a month or so but they are of very short duration and do not disrupt my life. Thank you Debra and Dr. Nambudripad, you have saved my life and my sanity. I can now grow old(er) gracefully.

I am an only child (adult) and the sole caregiver of an aging parent, my mother. She is still living in her own home and functioning reasonably well even with various health problems (heart, kidney). I have my own home to look after and I work full time. The stress of seeing my mother age as well as having to take on increasing responsibilities for her has been affecting my health, causing major disruptions in my life, and making me quite depressed. Debra is aware of my situation and has suggested emotional NAET treatments on several occasions. Although skeptical that acupuncture or acupressure could help, I did agree to such treatment. I have had two such treatments and although not completely stress free, I find that this NAET therapy has helped me to relax, get some much needed sleep, and find a better mental balance. "After eight months of experiencing frequent stomach flu symptoms followed by medical testing revealing all digestive organs were normal, I had no plausible explanation for the cause of my condition. So, on the recommendation of a co-worker, I went to see Debra Lowe.

After a simple 1-hour diagnosis, Debra found I had developed intolernaces to my own stomach acid and digestive enzymes as well as members of the milk family. Debra suspected one of the real “flus” I had threw my system into disarray and that my stomach was overreacting now to members within the milk family.
